During her December holiday, Chane traveled to France, Netherland, Italy and then back to Germany.
In France she visited Paris where she ticked one of her items off from her bucket list… the Eiffel Tower. She visited Amsterdam and said it is such a unique and beautiful city and one of her favourites in Europe. She visited Frankfurt in Germany and Rothenburg, which is known as the romantic little town, While she was there she went to a Christmas market and drank some Gluwein that she loved and helped a lot for the cold! After that Chane went to Venice (Italy) for a day to admire the beautiful canals that Venice is so famous for. In Rome she visited the Colosseum and all that she had to say about Florence was, “I paid 10 Euro (R140) for a little bit of ice cream.” From Italy she took a train back to Ingolstad (Germany) and because of the heavy snowfall it made the route very picturesque, with lots of trees and houses covered in a white blanket. The last trip she did was to Koningsee (Germany), a 6 hour train trip, but it was all worth it because it is one of Chane’s favourite places. This holiday Chane managed to tick three items off of her bucket list, seeing the Eiffel Tower, experiencing snow and exploring Venice. Chane said that her holiday was quite amazing and that she is thankful for the opportunity and will cherish the memories forever. But now it’s back to reality for Chane because her exams are coming up. In five weeks she will be heading back home again and can’t wait to see her family and friends and experience some heat.
